There isn't much secret about them. They were announced at SEMA last year and were run by multiple people, including me and everyone else in the Spec Class, at KOH this year. The interesting fact about the ones on John Currie's personal rig are that they are stickies while the ones run by everone else (e.g. Tony Pellegrino, Ryan Hagel, John Currie, Casey Currie, Bailey Cole, most of the other Genright cars, etc, etc) were street compound. For those in the mod and stock classes that ran them there actually was a bit of to do after the race as the rules for those classes say they tires have to be broadly available to the public and these likely won't be for sale broadly till 2015. Ultimate decision was not to change KOH results but the tires can't be run in mod or stock for any other Ultra4 events until they do actually become broadly available.
Thank you Dave Cole, Dynomax, Falken and all the Spec Class sponsors!!
