i repeat what i said in another thread:with all the bb's around you can GET AWAY without anything else but this DOESN'T mean that they wouldn't be BETTER with transfer case drop kits, relocation brackets, adjustable track bars, adj lca etc IF you want to be sure that your jeep is 100% safe and functional!!

just a quick note to unlimited04. i dont know if you have thought about this, but as you take stuff off, you take weight off the jeep .. therefore the 100 lb bumper you added doesnt add 100 lbs to the jeep. it adds 100lbs minus the stock bumper weight. another thing, if you are wanting to get 2.5 inches of lift, and you feel that you eat more cheeseburgers then other guys, try buying a 3.5 inch lift, and let it droop an inch. obviously that isn't the ideal fix, but paying almost 800 bucks for a 2.5" lift from OME is a little rediculous in my book. now this isnt supposed to be a smart *** remark or anything, just throwing some ideas out that i would think of if i was in the same situation as you are.

i also have a 2"bl, but no engine lift. Would i still need the t-case drop? and could i use the spacers that come with the kit and add to the t-case drop i already have?

I will more then likley do the drive way alignment, if it is way off, I will let you all know. If you have an adjustable track bar cool, if not, I wouldn't sweat it. As far as the TC drop, if you already have one, you should be fine. you don't want to add to it, this one is about an inch in drop.

Just picked this kit up, along with lactrain, let me know if you need to get an adjustable trackbar, bracket, or be OK without either. Thanks...

I was unable to meet up with the owner. I will try to get a hold of them this weekend. The alignment was dead on. I stopped by my local Firestone store, and it was fine. They adjusted my steering wheel as it a little to the right.

I've found the OME for $600, but thats still pretty pricey compared to this lift. I dont eat cheeseburgers, my jeep does

and i understand how to subtract the factory bumper weight (10lbs?), I'm factoring that in

but realisticly, i'll buy a kit that is designed for what i'm doing, and I don't see this kit fitting the bill unless the vendor can show some support that the kit has a spring rate designed for heavy accessories. usually buying something because its cheap costs more in the end.

I would definitely like to know how the ride compares to OME, BDS and Rancho

Well there is no reason you cant add those things <as cash flow allows> after the lift install, And this kit does include a transfer case drop.
