Rough Country 2.5" (2.2 Progressive)
Hi all,
Just trying to get some better opinions if the RC 2.2, 2.5" kit left your 97-06 TJ (any model) leveled or not. I'm at school right now and will go home(where theres a shop) to install the kit but due to the fact, I won't be able to compensate if its lower or higher, I would like to do it right the first time My 11 year old Original springs have def. sagged and left me with a huge rake (which i don't like); thus even with the 2" BB, it looked like crap ![]() Without my BFG M/T but you get the point I'm considering cutting the 2" BB down in the front to .75"-1" and possible doing the back ones at about .5", depending on if it deems neccesary....I DON'T have a winch/bumper yet but do see myself finding one in approx. 6 months, Thanks, Jared Morozzo CE Undergraduate jaredmorozzo@gmail.com

If you want, go more specific like if you installed a spacer with the lift, etc and I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this but theres no "General Suspension" Sections and I didn't want to clog up the TJ tech.
Thanks, Jared Morozzo

the rc 2.5 kit does leave some rake but it doesnt bother me that much.
here is a picture of it. ![]() its not very much rake. if it does bother you then you can just add some 3/4 inch spacers up front to level it out. |
