Rim Brand and modelname

Hello

Can someone tell me what brand and model this rim is? I have four 15x8" on my 76 CJ jeep and are looking for one for my spare wheel. I've looked around and found a similar one from american racing (outlaw I), however, these new ones have a protective coat on them. My rims is billet and can be polished to look like new anytime

Did they make this rim in 15x10? I'm considering 33" tires on my rig. I guess 8" rims would be to narrow?

Best regards

Thomas

8" would be about perfect for 33x1250s. 10" would stretch the tire too much, and when aired down you'd increase the chances of de-beading your tire.

That is an old centerline wheel. The closest you will get to that is the clear coated american racing or ultra wheel.

Thanks

I'll start looking for an old centerline rim for my jeep. Perhaps I'll settle for a newer lookalike for my spare-tire

Agreed.

I also agree on the 8" rim. You're fine on an 8" up to a 13.5" wide tire. A 10" rim on a 12.5" wide tire pushes the sidewall out out to far, weakening the tire's grip on the rim and exposing the bead to debris and obstacles.

Where can I search to find a used rims like this centerline? Tried ebay and a couple of jeep forums with no luck.

Are they so rare that it's virtually impossible to find them?

The link above is for a centerline drag wheel. Similar but not the same. It's not even offered in the 5x5.5 bolt pattern. IMO buy the Ultra wheel. If you really want to have the same finish strip the clear coat, wet sand the wheel, and start polishing.
