quick disconnects...yes or no

I have decided to go with a terraflex 3 inch lift and dont know if i should go with just the base kit (roughly 400) or the full blown kit with the quick disconnects and all the trim...i am planning on running 32's or 33's and dont really plan on getting into any real serious offroad conditions and im not sure if i need the quick disconnects or not, im kinda new to offroad and dotn really know what they do to begin with so i figured i would ask the pros before i throw money down on something i wont need

I have the full system. The disconnects are nice if you do go off-raoding as you get much better flex (it disconnects the front anti-sway bar and lets the axle move). If you aren't going to do much off-roading then many of the items in the kit are not real useful (control arms, steering pump skid plates, even the discos). The full kit includes a drop pitman arm but I didn't use it and its around 50-50 as to wheter bump-steer is better with it or with the stock one. You will need a transfer case lowering kit (not sure if it is in the base lift) but you can make one yourself from washers and some grade 8 bolts. Hope that helps a bit.

I have the tera 3st, full blown kit, and the big deal is the adjustable control arms.

I like the tera coils and discos and skids etc that come with the extra package BUT NOT THE CONTROL ARMS. They don't wear vary well. If you aren't going to do much off roading get the basic kit and add what you need as you go but stay away from tera's control arms!

You could get the JKS or Teraflex QDs seperate from the lift. It will be about $100.00 extra. You could make your own. Either way QDs are a really good mod.
