Finished painting the other 4 Ravines. Little tip, I used 1/8 fine line tape (the stuff they use to mask out flame jobs on hot rods.) It makes it a breeze to mask the curve of the wheel. The only cutting you'll need to do is trimming the excess between the long and short gaps.

Where does one obtain this magic tape? Let's just say it's been a while since i was adding flames to my hotrod.

as far as i can tell you gotta order it, i cant find the stuff locally at all, even the custom paint place didnt have any.

really impressed... i may do something similar on my dodge's wheels.

Even though they're not ravines, definitely liked the look of a black rim with a silver lip so i tried painting my extra canyon wheels using this as a guide



One of them next to the original waiting to be painted

Yeah, I'm waiting to see someone do a Moab with a silver lip. It would be a little more difficult I think because there is no factory line to follow. But I think it would look good.

well wrangler buddies you got me thinking now.. my black xj is looking for some new wheels and i like the ravines. so im thinkin gun metal or black. i dont know guys help me out.
