Painted Moab wheels satin black...pics included

Just got done painting my Moabs in satin black, thought I would share some pics. I was debating between powdercoat and paint and went with paint because it was cheaper and you can always touch em up. I washed them, sanded with 320 grit sand paper, cleaned again, taped off, primed with self-etching primer (couple coats), and applied a bunch of light coats with Rust-o-leum satin black rattle can...

Very nice, and is that hard top like a sand/gray color or is it just the lighting? I wasn't aware the blue LJ came with a top in that color.

Thanks. The hardtop is gray. I bought it from a guy who owned a silver LJ.

Looks good man. I'm planning on painting my JK Moabs for when I do my axle swaps. How did you prep the wheels? My buddy and I are thinking that just scuffing the factory clear up should be enough to make the paint stick. He doesn't want to sandblast them and affect the machined finish. I don't know crap about painting though.
