noobie - tips for installing new shackles

Hi Guys, I needed to replace my old shackles.
So I purchased the greaseable Daystar 1" lift shackles.

Is there anything special that I need to do to install them, especially since they're 2 inches longer than stock?

What's the easiest way to get them on?

Do one corner at a time, put axle stand under axle on that corner then remove the tire.

Use a small bottle jack between leaf and frame, hold everything in place and take out the old shackle. Then jack up the bottle jack so you can put in the longer shackle.

At least that's how I did it.
