And I have been told that the Nitto's rubber gets hard after a while...Any truth to that?

Ive rode in a rig on trail grapplers and they are quiet, But IMO a harder or the lugs glaze over easy on nittos. Had another friend run the 'dune' grapplers and they caramelized/glazed over at 60%+/-.

The silica in the kevlars stay decent all the time. Plus the price and ease to get them are a lot better. Nothing wrong with nittos, But the price lol.
