I still hate baja claws. and those are the radial version of the TTC. They made the bias version in that tire just for the Top Truck Challenge (hence the TTC) and that was a 54" tire. If I went with Mickey Thompson it would be MTZ hands down.
On another forum theres a guy who's convinced that the new TTC stands for "Tank Trap Claw". Its the "secret weapon" . He totally understands Top Truck Challenge but has still yet to put the two together. Oh well, If it keeps him warm at night..... IMO I dont like the new sidewall. The MTZ shares the same carcass and i never had a problem with them and the sidewalls.
YJ, TJ, XJ, ZJ..... Too many Jeeps!
I've loved my old 33" claws on my XJ as both a street tire, and off road tire. And that's on a spooled rear/locked front XJ. They've been great tires. Wear is as good as I can expect from a spooled/locked vehicle. I rotate them frequently though. I like the look of the new TTC version. I just wish they weren't so pricey. But I also wish that about every tire!
