Need your help! What 15x8 wheels for my TJ?

Hi guys, this is my first post on this awesome forum!

I need help to choose a good set of wheels to go on my jeep. I have a red2006 TJ-Wrangler. I have a hard time finding something that would be very nice on my jeep. I need suggestions and ideas, please! (Pics and links would be very useful)

I have Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires (31 x 10,50) and i'm looking for 15 x 8 wheels!

Thanks a lot and i really need your help!

PS: Sorry for my bad english... I'm french Canadian, so i tried my best.

If you try the picture request section, there's a thread called "show me your wheels" Try looking there. Here's mine just for the sake of this thread. They're Ultras.

You did better with your English than many around here that claim to have English for their primary language.

In addition to what tyvanwie said you need to narrow your options down a bit. Just asking for wheel suggestions is too broad.

Steel?
Alloy?
Beadlock?
For use off-road or just pavement?
Price range?
Fancy/flashy or simple?

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not looking for something too fancy, but i want something that kind of look aggresive.

My first choice was the Ballistic Jester 814 :http://www.ballistic-wheels.com/Blac...ster-814-black

But it seems that the bolt pattern doesn't fit.

-I'm looking for a black wheels but not all black! ;p

-I'm not doing off-road with it.

Hope this is a little more precise!

Thanks!

I think those will look good. In the Picture Request Section there is a thread called "photoshop requests" you can post a picture of your tj and the wheels you want if you want to see what they will look like.

I changed your thread title.

"Need your help" is not descriptive enough, and it is usually implied if you are posting a thread.

I'm only saying this because you seem to care about the quality of your posts and you want clear communication. Welcome to the forum!

I think Canyon or Ravine stock wheels look great, fit great, and work great with 31 x 10 R15 tires.

I personally believe stock wheels are most reliable solution. Your wheel bearings last longer, tires fit under flares better, and tires clear LCAs just fine with 31" tires.

Also, stock wheels are less likely to cause steering wear, and keep steering feedback to a minimum when a front tire hits a bump or pothole. Also less tire wear (ideal scrub radius).

In my opinion stock wheels are less likely to contribute to death wobble.
Since stock 15 x 8 work great with 31 x 10.5 R15 tires, why mess with perfection?

Stock wheels are free, if you already have them. If you don't already have stock 15 x 8 wheels, get some. If you do have stock 15 x8 wheels, keep them and keep your money, or upgrade something else.
