I'd get the MTZ's. They're a newer tire and have a tougher construction than the Procomp MT which has been out for several years.
You might want to look at the Procomp Xtreme MT which is similar in construction to the MTZ. By the way, Cooper Tires makes both the Mickey Thompson and the Procomp. They also make **** Cepek. |

I am in the same position as you are. I was going to buy MTZ's until Pro-Comp had its buy 3 get 1 free deal. The MTZ has better tread wear and is better on road than the MT. Off road performance is probably about the same.
I think I am going to go with the X-terrains. They have long tread life, are quiet on road, and are great off road. |
