I personally would not run a directional tire, it will make tire rotation very difficult as you would have to remount the tires on the rims each time or the tires would be running backwards. Its also said that they do not do as well if you get stuck and need to use reverse.

Personnally I run 33 inch Pro Comp Mud Terrains. I have about 7000 miles on them and they don't show any wear. They have performed great on rocks and in the mud.

I plan on going to 35's soon. I am trying to decide what tire to go with. I like the PC M/T's but I think I want something more aggressive looking. I was thinking of the Mickey Thompson MTZ's, they have gotten pretty good reviews.

I run TSL Super Swamper Radials and love them! They are great off road, a bit noisy on the road but have about 40k on them and still have more than enough tread on them. My next tire would have to be SSR Radial. I love the TSL's

It's not a Jeep, but my son just put Radial Claws on his truck and they performed well and look great. They probably will not get the miles that the DCs will.

I'm not trying to agree or disagree with you, but when I saw this it got me thinking.... My Haynes Manual says to rotate by swapping front to back and back to front but keeping the tires on the same side. If this is true it wouldn't matter about the tire having directional tread, right??? Just curious since I saw your comment....

BTW, in reference to the original poster, I'm leaning towards the DickCepek M/Ts. I'm needing new rubber real soon too and I've got my eye on those.
