need help

i have a jeep wrangler. i am going to do a locker in my front axle and need to know if there will be any affects on the road while i am in 2 wheel drive. like going around turns. is it also true that my front drivshaft will now spin constantly no matter if im in four wheel or two wheel?
any advice would be appreciated.

First, do you have a TJ or a YJ? If you have a TJ, no effect. Your driveshaft already spins all the time. If you have a YJ, then yeah, you're gonna have to get the driveshaft balanced more than likely cause it's going to spin all the time. There's about a 1 in 4 chance you won't need to cause for some unexplicable reason, your driveshaft will be balanced and you won't have any vibrations.

This does not apply to an ARB or Ox locker. You can turn them off when you're on the pavement.
