Need to fit 12.50s under flare.. backspacing ??

I am well aware that there's a tire/shock etc forum but I also know how often I venture down there and it's not often and I'm looking for an answer today so after it’s answered, moderator please move this topic.

I am looking at running 35X12.50 on cragar soft 8’s. I want to keep the tire as far as possible under the jeep without rubbing. I lost the post on my favorites where the guy showed a picture of this set up and the tires were barely out of the flare. I know I would need between 4-4.5” backspacing but I'm not sure what spacing soft 8’s come in and who on the forum runs them that stick under the flare mostly, but don’t rub? Thanks and sorry for the post here...

4.5" of BS is the most you can use with that size tire, which is the combination I used to run and would again if I could get that amount of BS with an aluminum wheel. One steel wheel that for sure is available with that amount of BS is the 15x8 steel wheel sold by 4Wheel Parts, similar in looks to the Cragar Soft 8's. (and moving this to the tire and wheel forum)
