Broke Bogger | Check out these new Pit Bull tires. Not exactly a Mud tire, but they are mean as hell on the rocks. __________________ Matt __________________ 97 XJ - Black Sport, 4.0L AW4, D30 and 8.25 6" Skyjacker/RE, 33x13.5 Swamper LTB Cracked Frame, good for steering!!! Registered User | I've been running the Kumhos (33x12.5) for about 10 months now and really love em. Great trail performance, fine street ride, and a great 'mud-tire' rumble on the road. I paid $101 apeice for them from tire-rack. Great deal and bang for the buck. Saved 50% off of the BFG MT, which is almost identical in tread-pattern. __________________ Click Here for: My Jeeps and their Specs Nashville, TN (Franklin) Lon. 86'54.285' W Lat. 35'58.310' N Alt. 610' |

Registered User | COOPER STT's I decided to go with Coopers new Discoverer STT clickey for more info I was looking to get 30x9.5x15 for my cherokee but the bfg MT's were $135 where as these in a 31x10.5x15 were $130 So far I love them though I only have about 50 or so miles on them. The are about as quite as my BGF ATs that I have on my wrangler ( I can't believe how quite they are with the huge lugs) and have an awesome look to them... Oh and even cooler... according to the salesman I am the first to buy the tires in the area... cost=4x130x1.06=$555.20 after tax here is a pic on the jeep: ![]() More pictures OK.. I have had them in every condition: dry pavement : good wet pavement : good mud/muck/swamp : good-excellent (so long as it is not deeper than the the tire is tall then for some reason the whole jeep didn't wanna move) ice : supprisingly good snow : good again highway 10hr trip : pleasant ... my roof rack made more noise Overall I am very happy with them. Registered User | Anybody running those ProComp XT's? I just bought a set and curious if I'm the only one out there with them, seems to be an uncommon choice. __________________ 1994 YJ Black 4cyl 4" RE Lift 35" Pro Comp XT's "Its not my job to give my life for my country, but to make the other SOB give his life for his country." |

Posts: 784 | Both the BFG MT and the Cooper Discoverer have a benefit I'm looking for, but I'm wondering if any other brands have it, too. There is a small raised ridge in the void between the lugs. This ridge helps break suction and causes the tires to clear better. Has anyone noticed this ridge on any other brands of Mud Terrain? ![]() __________________ Electric Hardtop Hoist Clifford Matrix Don't lie. Registered User | I'm running Dayton Timberline MT's: ![]() They're tough and have yet to fail me in the mud. The only thing they lack in is ice\snow performance, but hey all MT's suck in the snow, I'd sipe them but I don't want the lugs coming apart. __________________ My jeep has only ever killed 3 things, a cat, a deer, and my wallet.
