Micky Thompson Baja Claw on road??

Does anybody run MT Baja Claws primarily on pavement? I love the way they look, but I will only be going off-road occasionally. I know they'll be good when I take the Jeep back on the trails, but how do they drive when they're on the road??

Any pros/cons would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

i have some bias ply 33 claws mainly for the rough stuff but the ole heep is tagged and stickered and i am really not dissapointed with em. but would not be satisfied pavement pounding them for longer than a quick trip to the parts store...on the other hand my buddy has some mtz radials on his LJ daily and has put alot of highway miles and extreme rock abuse on them and they stood up like a champ

if they are the radial claws they are fine on road the bias ply claws wil wear fast on road and do flat spot when parked over night

I bought a chevy PU once with baja radials on it. 35 12.50s. They were about 3/4 wore out, and i made one wheeling trip when one of the lugs pulled out of the tire, exposing the wires.
So they actually lived on the truck for about 3 weeks before i replaced them with some generic m/ts

mine handle real well onroad..... 35" flavor..... have close to 25,000 miles on them and still have quarter tread or better. they are relatively quiet for an aggressive tire and ride smooth. just keep them balanced and keep the alignment good and they will last. i will be buying them again.....

they are a good balance between a streetable tire and off-road tire.....

and yea..... they look great!

for some reason my 35s on my yukon are loud and 33's on my jeep are quite. I think my 32'' yokahoma geolanders were louder than my claws

In case anyone is still interested... Looks like I'm going to get 35,000 street miles out of mine. MT Baja Claw Radials 35x12.50 R17. I'm not sure what I'm going to replace them with yet.
