Lejos De Bumpstops, Por Favor
Where are the damn bumpstops? I've seen pics, and I know I need to add a couple of washers, but I can't find anything that remotely looks like the pics I've seen. Can someone orient me as to their location relative to the front wheels? I'd appreciate it.

Are you looking for bumpstops or steering stops? I don't even know if they're the same thing, but I can't find the bolts that keep my tires from rubbing at steering lock. I looked at the FAQ picture, but don't find anything that looks like that under my rig. Good luck.

tubework is cool...

the bumpstops will be found "inside" of the coil springs...at either the top or bottom...
on a leaf-sprung vehicle, they're mounted where the axle would make contact with the body/frame and serve the same function... now, for steering stops...they're on your front axles...the bolt-looking piece is actually on the knuckle that the brake parts are attached to, which means they'll move (just so you're not looking on the axle tube somewhere)... they make contact with the axle at a flat area that's made into the axle...they should be easy to spot by looking around...it really looks like a bolt just screwed into the lower portion of the knuckle...
