i have the kuhmo road venture mts i havent tried them out yet on the trails but on the road they are not to loud. the only thing im not sure if i will like on them is that they are directional. but they have some pretty decent tread on them for the being a pretty cheap tire

Road Venture MT KL71s have been on my Heep since early 2007. They grab slickrock like claws, granite like claws, and they spit out mud like a loogie. I would not hesitate to buy these tires again.
![]() That mall parking lot sucked.

X2 ^^^^ I have these also (32") and love 'em. I just had them in the sand for the first time last weekend and they did great. I already have tested them on rocks and they did not let me down! For the price you can't beat the Kuhmo's.

hey guys ,.....I am looking at the Kuhmo's as well,....how are they on the highway? As well how are they wearing ? I've got it narrowed down to either the MT KL71's or the ol' reliable BFG AT's...in the 32" size....

I've got the older style.
I like em, but Im going A/T next time. Would't you know, I get mt's, and we have a 8 month drought, so no rain for mud here.

They do well on the highway, but that's not the primary purpose I have for them. I actually do have a set of street meats that I swap in when I can talk myself into it.
Not overly loud, but they still are a mud terrain, so don't expect silence. At low speed, there's a healthy bump to them. Mine have been at 32 PSI since I put them on, and they're wearing extremely evenly. Even the tire jockey at Discount is impressed. They see no cupping, the only chunking I've had was from the tire coming in contact with the fender. More of a cut than a chunk.
