JKS vs RE Adjustable Control Arms

JKS adjustable arms pivot in the middle, affording flex and lessening bushing wear. They're very strong, but heavy. Perhaps they also negatively affect on-road/dirt road handling because they allow too much front end movement and thus a "swimmy" handling feel?

What do people think? I've searched, but have found very little on this exact question here. I'm lifting my newly purchased '98 ZJ, 3.5" and I'm trying to decide whether to go with the RE adjustable arms, which is how I'm leaning. I think they're significantly lighter (important in a ZJ), plenty strong enough, and may provide more stability when it comes to cornering and the like. They're also cheaper and take up a bit less space.

Do people who run JKS feel any handling imprecision that they would attribute to the arms? Has anyone seriously compared these two options on the same or a similar vehicle?

I don't know if you have heard, but RE changed their bushing design. They use to use a stock rubber bushing. Now they are using an hourglass bushing. their have been threads on this over at rubi owners forum, the new bushings are wearing out too fast, some within 6 to 12 months. Personnally, I don't like to change out bushings that often.

Personally at 3.5" I would run stock arms, even though most will say you shouldn't. I have a set of RE arms in my bedroom awaiting install. They are very beefy and for the price difference I will take them over JKS
