Registered User Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Marquette, Mi Posts: 1,300 | It's not a longer drive shaft issue as much as the slip yoke causing vibes. You will need a slip yoke eliminator (SYE) if you go too much higher. Most people need them at 3" with the newer xjs. It's hard to say though, because it all depends on what tranny, t-case, and rear axle you have. You can drop the t-case, but the only real way to correct the rear drive line angles is to get a sye. Registered User Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: franklinville, nj Posts: 25 | yeah im looking into a 3-3.5 lift right now and i was considering adding my blocks and spacers to that making it a 5-5.5 so ill definitly need to look into the SYE. thanks for the help! |
