This is a LIGHT tire! 33x12.5r15 is only 48lbs - that's what my Firestone Destination MTs weigh in 31x10.5, and it's almost 20lbs lighter than almost every other MT tire in the same size. Even BFG ATs are 5lbs heavier in the same size.

While performance is clearly more important than reduced unsprung weight on a jeep, it's still very important for those of us who care about our MPGs or use or jeeps as DDs as well. And the fact less weight = more power at the wheel, which everyone should care about.

Looks like these tires have the grip, the handling, and the weight. I'm definitely getting these ASAP.
this means i MIGHT be able to survive oon 33s for a while until i can re-gear. just means i shouldnt do much wheelin though

I'm jealous. For some reason, it's hard to find that size in stock anywhere around here. I have a set on (back)order and I should be getting them (hopefully) next week.

mounted some 33s on a tj at work and he came back a week later and just was ecstatic with how well the tires were. he said they were the quietest tires he has ever had. he said on the trail they had plenty of bite. they have all the siping you could want in a mud tire, on all the trucks and jeeps we have put them on, they seem to all be wearing evenly and nice. plus for the miles theyve been ran, they arent really showing any signs of wear.

i would highly recomend these tires and wouldnt think twice about putting them on my rig if it were a daily driver.

I'v had the Duratracs in 31x10.5x15 on our TJ for about a month and a half now. They are a nice tire. First of Nov went to a Mud Fest. I was able to go everywhere a 31" Mud Tire Jeep went with no problems. On the road they are quiet, just a very very very faint hum, you may not even notice it. On the highway they ride smooth. They appear to be between a A/T and M/T type tire. When we had 3 days of rain, roads were flooded here. Driving through some large spots of water, the jeep went right on through, no movement of the steering wheel, no pulling or such. It was like the water wasn't there. My daughter commented on this to me, as she drove it home after getting the tires mounted. I noticed it later. I don't know how they are going to wear. Guess I'll find out. In the rain at highway speeds, the jeep just feels smooth. My daughter was following me the other day. It was raining and she had to stay back a bit she said, the tires were throwing so much water. I like them. Now watch, Goodyear has a really nice tire here, in a few months they will discontinue it. Seems like that's what always happens. Find something you like, works great, bang,,, they quit making it. Anyone in my area that wants to view the Duratracs on a TJ, let me know. We'll take it out and get it dirty, ha,,,,,,,

You know i got pics...dont worry about that haha. I just have to wait for the guy who took all of them to post the photobucket link to them.

The tires performed amazingly. They cleared out awesome compared the bfg a/ts i almost got. They just pulled me through everything. They do get a bit loud at higher speeds..you can hear the buzz from the tires. Oh and my suspension flexed awesome too but thats for a different thread.

^ On a stock TJ, 31 inch, add 2" BB and you can run 32", add a 1" BL and you can run 33".
