Goodyear MTR's

What do you guys think about them? Tread wear, handling, noise (I know they're loud but what isn't?). I've got them on my 87XJ now, but they need to be replaced. I've got a brand new spare of the same, and I'm thinking about sticking with them.

Huh? What are "silent armors"? Just curious about the Goodyear MTRs.

Sounds like you should be telling us. Unless you weren't the original purchaser and bought them used so maybe you don't know about how long they last I think you should just think about how well you like them. If they worked for you this time stick with them.

I have them on my DD truck and love them. Great look and feel. Noisey yes, but not terrible in that regard. I feel like I am getting pretty good wear out of them, but can't give you any numbers. Do you have a Discount Tire in your area. They can get just about any tire and usually will match some mail order deals. Good luck, Chuck

It had lockers front and rear and those are 40" MT/R's...the front right tire was just getting cleaned in the water...because it wasn't touching bottom. The bad part is I have vids of my jeep on 34"s making that hole no problem....just shows some vehicles are better in certain situations...every vehicle has spots it will do better than others in.
