WOW, that is not to good. Although that would be about 3 years time for me no more than I am driving it. I may end going with the Coopers.

I switched back to aluminum wheels and got a even better/less weight balance than before, So i highly doubt its your wheels. Win some and you lose some, Sucks they didn't replace your eggs like they should have. Kinda hard to stick with a company that sticks a customer with crap and they know and admitted the molds were bad. Good luck next time around
i called goodyear customer care today, they cancelled my lifetime balance when i went in this weekend to get them balanced again, and basically told me to pound sand.

I wasnt rude, until the end of the call when she told me they were done dealing with me. Then the worst she got from me was "i wont ever buy goodyear tires again, you wont ever have to see my name on a customer service ticket again." she then told me she would note my account that i wasnt buying goodyear tires anymore.

Ill be going with some BFG's when i go to 17 inch wheels.

That really sucks, I have had 2 sets. Both have been great. The first set Imped runs now. They would never balance on our machine at work. But Discount tire never had a problem. The most weight the current 37s took was 3 oz.

Sorry to here that dude.

That is real ****ty of Goodyear. Sounds like they could careless about their customers or their product they try to sell. I have been throwing around ideas that my Kevlars would look better on another jeep and going back to Mickey Thompson's. I had nothing but perfect service and IMO a perfect tire when i ran MTZ's. Never had a problem in all the years i ran them and only one flat, Nail.
But they and alot of people will chalk it up to a small, Single incident and continue to buy from Goodyear. Oh well, You will like 17" and 37's better anyways, Assuming you go that combo.

I wasnt shocked when she called back and told me she couldnt help me, but i was shocked that she was short and almost rude about it. I think her name was Mary.

17's and 35's. i dont feel comfortable with 37's on my rubi 44's. plus the wife likes to drive it to work in the summer.

Did she have a NYC accent? I talked to a lady from GY and she was rude and didn't know a thing about tires. Maybe you should talk to a customer service manager. Stand up for our consumer rights! Good luck!

I like the traction of the Goodyear's, But from what everyone says and all the reviews of the BFG's you will get a good tire. But id also look into calling Goodyear more. See where it gets ya if you have the time and patients.

Mine didn't take much weight to balance, roll smooth as hell at all speeds with alloys, and wear like iron. Oh, and they kick *** in the rocks. Zero issues here.

FWIW, I have had zero problems with mine (37s on 17in Evans Beadlocks). No vibes at any legal speed, wear is good, and off-road they're excellent.

I called again today, got ahold of a different lady in customer service, she refered me to their executive line. So i got in contact with Kim there, she is checking into it, the manager at the local goodyear store told corporate that they refunded me my balance. That is not true, and i told her that. She is supposed to call me today or tomorrow and let me know what she finds out. I told her whatever goodyear decides to do will have to be done at another goodyear store, im not going to deal with the local one's terrible customer service and dishonest management.

IMO the person i delt with thought it was pretty low they were trying to pull that and refunded every cent including gas money as i have to drive 25 miles to a "city" to their Goodyear store's. You will find a good employee eventually lol.
If it was me again, Id call everyday or every other until i had a tolerable set of tires. I called a couple times a week and they must have got tired of me lol, But i was satisfied.
The only thing they will do and they did to me is, If the replace them and you say ok and leave, There is no more warranty, Road hazard, Etc. But IMO it was worth it to have a good set than a warranty i only need when i purposely put the tire in hazardous places all the time.
Keep calling, Nothing to lose IMO especially when you have crap now. They made it right with me and toward the end, I was getting rather rude and intolerable.

I feel like they are done with me just like they are with you, so why didnt i take the tires when they offered. And i told her that.

kim at customer service called back. She said they wouldnt replace them( i never asked for that) and asked if that was all she could help me with. So i asked if i still had my lifetime balance warranty i bought, she said that i did have it. So i asked if i could go to a different goodyear store, and she replied that i could.

So i go to the other goodyear store about 13 miles away, wait for an hour, just to be told that goodyear sent me a letter and a refund, and that they were done with me. Now i can assure you that i never recieved a letter and a refund. So i told sorry for wasting his time, and i left. I tried to call kim at customer service back several times today, and it keeps going to her voicemail. Im wondering if she lied to me, or if goodyears internal record keeping database doesnt get updated very often.

Ill keep you guys posted...

Talk to her boss or write a letter to the corporate office. Don't give up just yet! Good luck!

goodyear independent dealer road force balanced them with clamp on wheels weight on the inside and outside. Its alot better, but the tread is now wore funny, the tread is now out of round from the carcass along with the carcass being out of round. I had to pay for the roadforce balance, we will what goodyear has to offer tomorrow morning.
