Friends wife to lift jeep. Ideas?

My buddies wife finally got herself a Jeep today! She has been looking at some 05s trying to get a deal but she fell up on an 01 today that she couldnt pass up. Its going to be her DD so my friend just told her to put 31s on it and be done with it but she has set her mind to cramming 33s. More or less she ordered Brian and myself to do what needed to be done to fit 33s on a low budget. I suggested a BB since it would be the cheapest (if it could clear.) We just pulled my 31s off my truck and put them on for size. Then measured the distance between the top of the tire and the flare (front was 3.5") and then jacked up the jeep by the frame until there was 5.5" between the tire and flare. I know this is not the best way to tell if a tire will fit or not..but there appeared to be plenty of room for 33s. I think they are planning on running 4" BS..if not less. Do keep in mind that this is a DD that will never hit the trails..the biggest bump will be in shopping center going over the speed bumps. Ideas? Opinions? I warned her of possibly needing to do a TC drop and a front end alignment..and she seems fine with it..

Lemme know what you think...

BB and body lift will be ok for 33's for on road driving.

Agreed!

She may not like the power loss with the 33's (3.73) - 32's would be a better fit even with the 2" BB and 1" BL!

If the 33's are not aggressive and say just a a/t or street tire a 2"bb will result with minimum rubbing. Just don't go offroad!
