Flex

What components on a rig affect its ability to flex? I don't believe it to be solely a lift kit. Do longer shackles, lift leaves, or shocks affect the flex? I just bought a Jeep, it has some lift, not sure what kind or how much and the PO didn't know either. The reason I ask is because I was out riding and at one point, my drivers side front wheel was hanging in the air, but it only dropped maybe 6 in. Why? What's limiting it? I plan on doing a soa swap sometime, will that help?

And when lifting a vehicle, what options are better, longer shackles or new lift springs...

I think that's what I'm trying to ask....
