Easier to to measure proper tire inflation w/ "X" wide wheel?

Is it true that if you have a 12.5 wide mud terrain tire that it is much easier to find the proper tire inflation for tread wear when using a 10" wide rim vs 8" wide rim...???

As in it's harder on the 8" wide rim to find that sweet spot vs a 10" wide rim?

Yes it is true, a 12.5 inch wide tire is designed to be on a 10" rim, we run them on 8" because it holds the bead better and the rim gets better protection from rocks.

The 8" wide rim causes the tread to bulge meaning you have to go to a lower pressure
