Cragar D pinstripe

I picked up a new Cragar Black D window. My others had the pinstripe removed by the PO. I know you can remove it with acetone, but all I have on hand is brush cleaner which according to the jug has acetone in it. I'd like to save a few bucks if I can, so is brush cleaner ok to use?

I tested it on a small spot, and it removed the pinstripe flawlessly without striping anything else.

Sweet, wish I had done that with mine forever ago. The rocks pretty much took care of it though...
