Charcoal Pearl Plasti-Dip Pro-Comps

Just got my wife a 2014 Unlimited Sport. Previous owner put some chrome Pro-Comps on it which look great but she nor I am a fan of chrome. She told me I had to do something about it

Plasti-Dip has come so far since I did stuff on my old 03 Wrangler. I didn't want to do just flat black on hers so I found some charcoal pearl Plasti-Dip that requires a black base.

Hit them with 5 coats of black. Super light for first coat then a nice thick coat by the 5th. The pearl has a glossifier in it so after 2 coats of the charcoal it gave the wheels a nice finish. Very happy with the finished product. Went ahead and blacked out chrome grill accents also.

Thoughts?

After

In all truth, a presidential visit to Pensacola is usually more trouble than it's worth. I'd rather have a V-8.

Looks awesome. Black base as in regular black paint or black pasti dip?
