Ceramic beads to balance tires...any experience?

How many of you guys have had experience with this product that you put in your tires that claims to continuously balance your tires? They are ceramic beads, IIRC. Here is the website.

I am thinking of giving them a shot because I need to balance my tires real soon. While the product is only approx. $5.00 per tire, I am running a pretty tight budget this semester because of the long drive to school.

Any input would be appreciate...as usual

I have a friend and we did his 36 inch Iroks on beadlocks. 8 oz per tire. Worked out well...he is very happy with it.....

I had 44x17.5 super swampers on 16 in rims on my ford f250. They shook really bad on the highway because they were too big for a tire machine to spin balance. Static balance wont get the front to back inbalance and this is needed on 17.5 wide tires. I got beads put in at a truck service center and they were cured. What happenes is it will rebalance as you change speed. When I got on the highway they would vibrate for a short time then be OK. If I sped up or slowed down they would vibrate and then be OK. I can tell you they definitely work.

Just put the beads in mine on Weds. So far so good. I only had a very slight balance problem and actually left my wheel weights on and added 5 oz per wheel. Seems to be the trick. I would like to remove the wheel weights but I'm afraid to have the slight vibe come back

For those of you who already run the beads , do you need special valve stems ?
Like with screens or something affixed to them on the inside to keep the beads out of the stem or are they bigger than the stem opening ?

Yes,order the special stems from them if you get the beads.Keeps them from collecting at your valve stem

I've wondered the exact same thing. RockCrawler.com had a review on a similar product here. I've never used them myself, but it seems like it would work.

Ouch. Did you check out how much they cost? $200.00 for four! The price page is here.

Compared to the Dynabead's price of approximately $10.00 per tire, the decision is not hard for me.

But thanks for the heads up! It is always good to be able to compare products!

can someone give us some reviews on BB gun pellets, about ride quality ?

also how many bb's per tire,, not like u guys count em 1 by 1 , but 1000, 2000,3000 ??

now when u do this,, is there no need to balance the tire at all on a machine
