cant afford a lift

I cant afford a lift at the moment but the stock tires on my tj gotta go what do you think I can clear. The rig is bone stock for now

31 x 10.5 R15

Gearing is the other issue. 31s are tallest that is practical with stock gears, IMO.

Get 31s.

I ran 31s and then 33s on my LJ. I learned that I prefer 31s because not only cheaper easier to fit, but they offer better acceleration and braking, way better gas mileage, and less parts breakage. I also felt it steered better with 31s.

31s are awesome.

32's won't work without lifting. You'll have close clearance to the fenders and may rub at full lock.

This is the best answer for the time over question on stock tj tire upgrade w/o lift I have found on site so far... Quick simple and to the point....
