Can it be mounted black wall out or does it have to be white wall letters?

White letters out.....Ive heard of guys running them black out with no issues, but i've heard that Goodyear won't warrenty them if they are not mounted correctly....

just got the 33's on my jeep. Not a huge fan of the white letters or the fact that ongoing rock usage is gonna potentially make the whole sidewall white.

they actually mounted em black out for me and then realized they were supposed to be white out and turned em around. I'm really not clear on how it could affect performance as long as the directional aspect is correct.

the guy at goodyear told me the white is a whole layer behind the raised letters. I'm still gonna try to shave one off and see if I can get black.

Shoe dye (not polish, dye) will take care of those white letters ... and gashes!
