Which brand to go with?

I was looking at getting a 4 inch suspension lift. The brands that carry them are: Pro Comp, Superlift, and Skyjacker. Anyone have any good/bad comments on these lifts.

Skyjacker is the softest but doesn't last very long, pro comp is the stiffest but cheapest, super lift is a compromise, just be sure to get the soft ride springs.

I've run both the Superlift 3.5" lift and the Procomp 4" lift. The Superlift was a great riding spring and worked well on the trail until... my Jeep became a beast of burden. Once you start adding a winch tire carrier, gerry cans, tools, spares and whatnot, the Superlift is just too soft. Now that's on the 6 cylinder. I think it would be good throughout on a 4 cylinder. I went to the Procomp 4" after that. Procomps are generally known for a stiff ride. The fellows at Canyon City 4x4 talked me into the Procomp springs. Basically they too carry a lot of junk in their Jeep and needed the heavier spring rate. For my Jeep, those Procomp springs worked great until... well nevermind, I see there's another topic about SOAs. I go see what's going on there.

Go SOA, in the long run it'll save you money
and you'll get more out of it.

I'm running a 4" ProComp, after breaking it
in and doing a few other mods I can ramp
very close to 1100...so I think the PCs are
pretty good.
I have heard horror stories about them though, so I may have just gotten lucky hehe
