I just bought some Allied Alloys and was surprised when I picked them up. Website said 26lbs for the beadlocks but my scale shows the wheel at 29 and the ring at 3lbs.
I was wondering about the weight and how much it was going to kill what power I have left with 35" and a 4 banger.

solar1... as you may have read on previous posts i was very concerned too. i had 32xs11.5x15 dunlops mudrovers on stock steel rims... i added 33x10.50 boggers (heavy) and allied rims and i didnt see any difference at all.. nothing..
i live on PR and we have a lots of HILLS... it feels just the same so .. dont be scared.. install them. test it. you'll see.. i'll wait for your feedback enjoy!! i love them!! I ran them on our most dificult trail at 6psi (sal si puedes).. no problem at all.. i used to blew beads off at 11-12psi all the time.
