Do you plan to run these on the street? What strikes me is the 25PSI MAXIMUM pressure? We run our MT/R's right around 24PSI on the street. What PSI do you run?

Please be aware these wheels are NOT made to FVMSS standards for highway use; they have been manufactured for the purpose of OFF-ROAD USE ONLY and not for use on streets or highways. Wheels should be inspected and tires properly installed and torqued in place before use. Maximum tire pressure: 25 psi.

The Areo ones I have ran at 45 psi and beat and banged on them at over 125 mph. They have thicker centers so they dont get knocked out of true easy

Those look like off-road racing wheels? Note the difference in the number of bolts. It appears the aero's have 16.

I'd have no problem running 32 bolt Allieds on the street.

Just noticed that. I guess more bolts the better when it comes to wheeling

I run Allied Rock 8's. They balance, and ride great. I have had absolutely no issues on or off road. I keep my tires at 32psi for the street. I lower them to 20 in the snow, and deflate to 4psi for most off-roading.

If I have a complaint it is that they are heavy.

I've been daily driving on their 32 bolt 17x9.5" beadlocks for a few weeks now, no problems.

I'm on 40s so I don't need to run more than 15psi on the street so I can't comment on the "max pressure" deal. I see no reason to worry about running 25psi though, chances are if you are running 12.5" wide tires then you shouldn't need more than that.

I'm balancing mine with steel BBs in the tire, I have 14oz in each.

As far as I know there is no law anywhere banning beadlock wheels from the streets.

DOT doesn't mean a damn thing when it comes to wheels that are "approved" or not.

When I got my state inspection done the inspector called the state trooper to ask about a bunch of various things, one of which was the wheels are beadlocks and have a sticker that says "OFF ROAD USE ONLY" on them... doesn't matter that it says that, no rule in the book saying they can't be on the road as well.

Now if a TIRE says "OFF ROAD USE ONLY" THEN it is a problem, but that is mainly to keep stupid stuff like tractor tires off the highway

The rims ARE heavy, but in my case I don't care. 17x9.5s are 50lbs a piece.

I don't really care, each wheel/tire combo on mine weigh 150 together

Wrong.

Post up a law in writing. Anywhere.

Have him show you the law. Cop can say what he wants. But when you and him standing in front of Judge, the judge will want to see the law.

I work for our local PD. Some of the guys from our Traffic bureau were razzing me, telling me that my beadlocks were illegal. I offered lunch to anyone that could find that codified. They looked. I did not buy anyone lunch.
