alcoa wheels or 46.00 steel wheels?
i have a 2004 jeep wrangler trail rated. i have aluminum alcoa wheels on it. wheels are 15 inch. the alcoa wheels with the circles. im thinking of putting balck steel wheels on it instead 46.00 ones. is this a good idea or not? please someone help me.

Stick with aluminum, my opinion. The steel lovers will be along soon to offer their opinion. Besides Alcoa wheels are forged and are as strong as steel for our purposes.

Those Alcoa's are probably forged. I will trade you a set of delux black steelies for them. |

The Alcoas are a great wheel if you don't need the backspacing. If you plan on running anything wider than 10.5" you will need to either use spacers or go to a different wheel. Steelies are a good cheap way to get into a rim with less backspacing, but if you don't *need* to, stick with the Alcoas.
