Bear with me, new to lift and suspension.

Having a 350 with 700r4 and NP231 swapped into my 1987 YJ 4.2 5spd Stock.

I'm not sure what the different options are but I'm basically looking for better leaf springs than the flat garbage I have now. In addition I would like approx. 2'' of lift. Is there a kit I can buy that is relatively inexpensive and simple to install without any major modifications with SYE, etc...Please explain and advise.
Thanx in Advance.

Any 2" lift will be very easy to install with no steering or driveline work necessary. The 350 is only about 50 lbs heavier than the 4.2, and the 700r4 can't weigh too much more than the stock tranny. About the same difference as having a passenger or not. I think the best one is the skyjacker softride, I beleive they make that in a 2.5" flavor. Research the lift springs you want before you buy, when you decide what you want, post it here and see what others have to say. Most cheap lifts will be too stiff.
