add a leaf

I'm looking for about a 2.5" lift for my 95 yj. And I was wondering what would be better. a suspension lift or a add a leaf kit?

A suspension lift kit is better performing than just an add-a-leaf. But, also more expensive. I don't think you can get an add-a-leaf with more than 2" of lift either. Add-a-leaf is definately a cheap way to get some lift and better than doing it with shackles or body lift alone. A 2" add-a-leaf, a 2" body lift and some 31" tires and you can have some real fun.
