Adapter for 2008 Wrangler Wheels to fit a 1999 Wrangler

I bought 2008 17 inch wheels for my 1999. What adapter do I need? Where is the best place to buy them? I need five.

dont forget to get 5 wheels, not 4. the old spare will be useless unless you feel like pulling 10 lugs instead of 5.

I think you would only need four adaptors and not five.

See the post directly above yours

Unless you feel like doing fabrication work on your spare tire mount

I understand that the original spare will not mount to the new lug pattern. I didn't figure it would be too hard to make the spare carrier accept a 5 on 5.5 wheel.

Did this work ok?.....Do the 17" wheels work on the 99 wrangler with only having to purchase the adapter? Or did you need a lift?

They worked well but I already had a 2 inch lift on it. The gas mileage went from 20 MPG to about 17. I can only use 5th gear on flat interstate.
