98TJ coils VS Rubicon coils. Are the Rubicon taller? How much?
I have the chance to aquire some rubicon coils . I am about to install a 2BB and 32"tires. I would like a hair more clearance. Are the rubicon coils longer (I think they are) or do the pressureized gas shocks what makes it sit taller? Does anyone know how much longer they are if that is the case and if they will fit my TJ?
Thanks again guys. Bob

I think the Rubi is an inch taller. Not sure if shocks or springs. JIC it helps, not sure of the truth, but my buddy says his 2.5 has 4.0 springs, and it rides pretty high because of the engine weight difference. He put on a 2" BB and gained 5" front and i think 6" rear, but it could be something else wierd. Might want to look into it though.
Edit: just saw the Sahara Sig

Shocks cannot affect ride hieght it is just the springs.
As far as I know the Rubicon is one inch taller than the regular TJ. You should try posting in the TJ forum, or even better in the jeepsunlimited forum in the Rubicon section. Good luck
