315-75r16 KM2 lets see them and actual height

Hey guys about ready to order my tires and I wanted some 33's on my rubi wheels. I feel like the KM2s are just not big enough in a 305-70r16 and I see people saying they are really only 32s. I would rather have a 33 or even a 34 so does anyone have pics or actual measurements of a 315-75r16 (I know they SHOULD be 35x12.5s but it seems this isnt always the case) on a TJ? Thanks in advance guys....

Lots of folks over on ROF like the 255/85/16. In the KM2 flavor, its a 33.5" tire, and its only 10mm wider than the stock 245/75/16s.

Don't let tire sizes fool you, just because 2 different tires say they're 35" doesn't mean they both measure that way. The difference in brand or even styles among brands can vary significantly.

305/70-16 is 32.81" x 12.01" and 315/75-16 is 34.6" x 12.4". This tire calculator will let you see whatever tire size you want.

Yeah but thats the thing its not actually that size..... they claim that size but some companies run large and some small just like shoes. I have read many times people say the KM2s run small. I bought tires for my vette when I had it that were almost an inch shorter than my friends with the same size on the same car, his were Nittos and mine were Hankooks.....so even though it says its one size does not mean it actually is. When I put those tires on my vette it didn't look right and it was 1,000 dollar mistake I don't want to make on my jeep.
I guess pictures from anyone would be best if any one has the 305-70 or 315-75 post em up plz, would Love to see them.....

My 35" KM2's ran 34".I prefered my MTZ's and they ran very close to the advertised size.

I just met with a guy yesterday down the road from my house that has a used set of 315x75r16 KM2s on his Jeep. He is looking to downsize to 33's so i'm debating if i want to do a straight swap with him or not. We both have about 40% tire tread left. I had him measure the actual height of the tire while I was there and they measure exactly 33". Keep in mind these are also 40% remaining tread so a lot of the nubbies are shaved down quite a ways. I'm guessing when they were brand new they were probably close to 35" in height.

Here are a picture of the wheels i'm looking to trade my 33's for. Not a fan of the painted lip so i would paint them all black to match. But these are the same size tire you requested about.

It will be tight, I need a 1inch BL to clear the Kenne Belle so it would really be 4.5 total lift. I think I will be good then.

I am also going to look into the MTZ but alot of people swear by the km2s. Thanks
