3" lift/ 16" Icon rims / Cooper Discoverer ATR's/ TIRE SIZE!
Okay, my first post here... hello...
I'm hooked on installing Cooper Discover ATRs on my 99 XJ w/ a 3" lift. I have the 16" Jeep Icon rims. Obviously i wanted 31x10.5x16 tires but Cooper only makes the 31x10.5 up to 15". What would you recommend? Getting a close equivalent of the 31x10.5... like a 245/75/16? ...a different brand? ...or a different size all together??? I don't do much offroading but the concern for the tires bumping the springs or control arms while turning is definitely there...

245/75R16 = 30.47x9.65"
265/75R16 = 31.65x10.43" Either of those gets you in the ballpark... |

Running 265s with out fender trimming will be tough with 3inch lift. 245s will fit well, but will most likely be a D or E load tire.

will the 245/75/16's be wide enough in regards to the old saying... "the higher... the wider..." |
