245x75r16 vs 265x70r16

Ok guys so I just got a set of 16in Moab rims and I'm currently running 245x75r16 falken Rocky Mountains. I ran a set of 31x1050 duratracs for a while on my old jeep and was looking them again when I noticed that duratracs are available in 265x70r16 which is almost the same as 31x1050, and 245x75r16 (a narrow 31) I was wondering which is the better option between the two tire sizes and why

Depends on your use. 265/70s are wider, more floatation. 245/75s are narrower and will be less affected by water, slush, loose surfaces at speed. Me I prefer the narrower because hitting a puddle at highway speeds has less effect on the straight line tracking. But I drive more highway than anything else. I'd run 255/85R16s. A 33x10x16.

Yer question asks more questions. How/where do you drive?
