245/75/16 Duratrac Load C Tire Pressure

I have an 03 TJ with a new set of Duratracs. They are replacing stock MTRs of the same size.

I'm not sure if I should run the same pressure (33) because the MTRs were load range E. is it normal to have to go with a higher or lower pressure with a lighter tire?

They ride nicely at 33 but I'm seeing a decrease in MPG and they don't appear to be much more aggressive.

Anyway, a lot of people are running this tire on a 15 inch rim but I'm looking specifically at the stock rubicon size.

I'm not a huge fan of the chalk test or calculations based on weight. I feel like they always end up on the low side.

Thanks!

If you're not wanting to do the Chalk test, then it's just trial and error till you get what you want. everyone's jeep is different. I have the Duratrac 33x12.50x15s I run mine at 26 PSI- cold.

I suppose. I was hoping other people are running the same size tire. If I had faith in the chalk test i would.
