18" WK2 2012 Limited rims fit 08 WK Laredo?

Hi!

Looking to upgrade my stock rims, and found a sweet deal on craigslist.

Will these fit on my WK?

18" Aluminum Rims

If they will, I'ma head over today and pick them up!

Thanks!

Bolt pattern and hub diameter should be the same. They should fit provided they don't interfere with anything else.

Is there something else I should look for?

I'd hate to buy them.... go to the tire shop to get the installed and find out they won't work.

They should work I looked and the bolt pattern is the same. I don't see why they would not work.

What are you going to do about tires?

That's great!

As for tires? I was thinking of upgrading finally to an all terrain tire.

Thinking Firestone destination a/t?

I only said that as a caveat. Once in a great while the offset would be far enough off that it would cause steering issues.

I have '08 Wrangler rims on my '01 WJ. The offset was slightly different. But it didn't cause any harm.

Well the wheels don't come with lug nuts and I read it isn't safe to use WK lugs on WK2 rims.

Why isn't it safe?

They are possibly different, I could not be positive unless I looked at them. You just need to check if they match up to the wheel.

If the stud thread pitch is all the same, then you are good to go. If the ri thms you want use that massive Chrysler lug nut, they won't. Aftermarket lugs don't have the surface area to clamp them down the correct way. And they only make the lug nuts in a 9/16" and a 14mmx1.5 thread pitch.

Okay I'm back into looking at WK2 wheels.

Found a set on CLs, but again I'm not sure if they'd fit a stock WK. Anybody know for sure?
