10" wide spare with 8.5" wide wheels

is this ok? somehow i ordered the wrong wheel too late to send it back, it has the same backspacing and everything would it be fine for a spare on the same size tire? 35x12.5r15

Yeah a 35x12.50 will fit on a 10" wide wheel. But its good that its a spare, because if its the same backspacing as the 8.5" then it will stick out another 1.5" than the 8.5 wheels. It will look funny it you rotate in it with the 8.5" wheels
