i worked at a tire shop for a while and it wasnt uncommon to see people do it. just dont plan on airing down and some tires wear the shoulders fast with a wider wheel.

its easy to break the seal on the tire on a set up like that when off road.

It looks fugly. Make do with them for now, get some 8" wheels when you can. Airing down off road not advised.
