Can you comment on the mygig system at all. From what I hear Harmon Becker is supposedly going to get uconnect and voice recognition functioning.

Thanks for taking your time to answer all these questions.

i work for a C-J-D dealer in Indiana and i'm amazed at the MPG's other makes (Honda, Toyota, etc....) are getting compared to the best that we offer, the MK's and PM models.

recently we've seen the release of Smart Cars and soon to follow i hear is the Toyota IQ. i for one would love to have a small Jeep that would get the kind of mileage these cars claim AND be the size they are along with all terrain capability.

any ideas in the works???

Personally what I like about my '92 YJ is how simple it is- no power seats or door locks or windows or whatever to be constantly going bad on me- form follows function... I would like to see Jeep going back in that direction.

We hear you on the engine options.

ESP will soon be required by law, so get used to it. We do turn it off in low range and allow the option to turn it off when in four wheel drive high range.

Having a simple interface on the car is the best way to go.
Less electronics

My 2 cents:

Jeep is beginning to look too much like Dodge. I can't tell the difference between a Nitro and a KK. Let Jeep become the offroad division of Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep.

All the Wrangler owners I know what a diesel

There's a substantial aftermarket for the Liberty KJ - we want mopar!
We need winch bumpers and nice big rear bumpers too. Something mean
A better differential than the D30A!!!!
Could you make a solid front axle for the Liberty? (I'd love one of those)
Give the KK round headlights like the patriot and some of the KJs curves back. Heck, someone said it before:Make a solid front axle patriot, but the size of the KK. A Rubicon Patriot if you will, with 4lo. I'd trade in my KJ for one of those right now.

I think what we're all trying to say here is we want to work for Jeep's R&D

We still do offer manual windows, door locks and seats on the JK...probably will for the forseeable future!

I don't mind ESD; as long as it has an OFF switch.

Come on guys can you please give me just a glimmer of hope for a real XJ replacement. There is nothing else like it on the market. Bring the 2500 over I don't care what you have to do. If its got the life time power train warranty I would be willing to pay up to 40k base for it. Seriously. Either that or I keep putting my money in keeping my 91 Sport XJ running.
