It would be great if the Grand Cherokee had a trim level similar to the Rubicon for the Wrangler. It should include standard rock rails, larger more aggressive tires in a normal size (265/70/17), better suspension package for more clearance, an optional or standard rear tire carrier like the ZJ had, an electronic swaybar disconnect like the JK has. The Rubicons sell amazingly well, I believe a similar trim of Grand Cherokee would also.

Why do the radio’s offered not have speed compensated volume?

From what I have heard, the new MyGig offers GPS coordinate inputs. If so, this is great, if not, this should be mandatory for off roading purposes.

Are daytime running lights possible yet?

It would be great if there was an option in the EVIC to select if the window lockout feature disabled all passenger windows, or just the rear doors (for kids only).

In the EVIC, why cant we see electronic oil temp, volts, oil pressure, etc. Im sure the WK knows what it is already. Also, an instant MPG would be nice, as well as an average speed option (a la Audi).

You have built an awesome Jeep with the WK.
We would love to offer a "Rubicon" Grand Cherokee - together we need to convince the company that there is a market for it.

Thanks for the input on the radios and EVIC - we are always looking for ways to give you the options you want.

Difficult to say without the history of either of the vehicles you are talking about. There are no durability issues associated with any tapping noises on either engine.

It's possible there were some high mileage concerns on 4.0L engines in past years (used on Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, and Wrangler). The newer Jeeps don't have issues with this as reported through our dealers.
