What are your thoughts on the subtle "steering column clunk" that a lot of us are putting up with? Do we keep injecting high tack/thicker grease?

You guys do realise that a 5.7L V8 Wrangler would sell like hotcakes out here in the Middle East right?

I think it would work well considering the JK target consumer demographic, and the expanded age group. I can see it beeing a selling point on the lots.

Perhaps not as acceptable to the traditional jeeper, but what can you do.

Just bought new 98 TJ Wrangler Hardtop. It did not come with rear defrost. I want to find a rear window with defrost. BUT here's the QUESTION:
Does the factory wiring harness already support that modification?
and
Where do I find the switch that goes in the dash?

I have an 07 Sahara Unlimited soft top.

Is there an aftermarket kit to add a center hold-down latch for the soft top? Not sure if that is the right term. The latches that secure the top to the windshield frame. It could hook to the windshield tie down that is already welded there.

If it is a windy day, at highway speeds the wind noise is god awful. I have to reach up and pull down on it and the noise goes away. A third latch would solve that.

Don't think the harness is there unless it was ordered.... You could do an overlay wiring set up, but that is pretty involved. Switch is a special high current, timed unit I think. Dealer item

Where do you do winter testing on the JK?

I know land rover does winter testing in Thompson, Manitoba, Canada. It can be as low as -45.

I would love to see a factory 1-ton version of the JK-4door that comes with 37" tires stock, Dana60's front/rear and a towing capacity that will haul a decent sized camping-trailer. Right now we are limited to only 3500lbs towing behind the Jeep, and the options for trailers are very limited in that kind of class.

I just purchased a Fleetwood Evolution E1 trailer to tow behind my Jeep and the power department is very lacking on hills, I cannot locate side-mirrors to see around the trailer and the tail of my Jeep sits close to the bump-stops. I will be installing helper-air-bags this weekend to try to compensate for the sagging - but - is there anything else that I can do?

Hi,
I have an 06 TJ Unlimited and it doesn't have the factory auto dim mirror. I want to upgrade to the factory style auto dim mirror with compass, temp, and map lights. I did notice that there is a temp probe behind the grille. I have heard that a wiring harness is already installed on these, but when I removed the top cover on my dash, it was nowhere to be found. Where would this harness be or don't the 06's have this?

Where it's dam cold !

A few places.... usually like 20 to 30 below zero for cold starts, warm ups, and defroster performance.

Not the fun trips.... BRRR !
